Your Moving Contract with us is at owner’s risk. This means that as the carrier we are not liable for loss or damage unless we intentionally do so. This is further explained under the Contract & Commercial Law Act 2017.

This law also overrides the Consumers Guarantees Act, so taking in transit insurance is an important decision.

We want to make sure you are informed and aware of the options to protect yourself from financial loss through damage or loss of your household goods and personal effects whilst being moved.

When you receive a quote from us, we’ll include the pricing options for in-transit insurance separately; that way you can see the insurance cost clearly. We always advise insuring for the full replacement cost to make sure you are fully covered.
